Red Hat Security Advisory: Red Hat Product OCP Tools 4.14 Openshift Jenkins security update
The vulnerability can be exploited over the network without needing physical access. It is easy for an attacker to exploit this vulnerability. An attacker does not need any special privileges or access rights. No user interaction is needed for the attacker to exploit this vulnerability. The impact is confined to the system where the vulnerability exists. There is a high impact on the confidentiality of the information. There is a high impact on the integrity of the data. There is a high impact on the availability of the system.
Active exploitation in the wild has been confirmed. Immediate patching or mitigation is required.
The exploit probability is critical. The vulnerability is very likely to be exploited in the next 30 days.
We did not find any exploit available. Neither in GitHub repositories nor in the Exploit-Database.
- CVE-2022-25857
The package org.yaml:snakeyaml from 0 and before 1.31 are vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS) due missing to nested depth limitation for collections.
UpstreamEPSS 2.2% - CVE-2022-29599
In Apache Maven maven-shared-utils prior to version 3.3.3, the Commandline class can emit double-quoted strings without proper escaping, allowing shell injection attacks.

- CVE-2023-24422
A sandbox bypass vulnerability involving map constructors in Jenkins Script Security Plugin 1228.vd93135a_2fb_25 and earlier allows attackers with permission to define and run sandboxed scripts, including Pipelines, to bypass the sandbox protection and execute arbitrary code in the context of the Jenkins controller JVM.
UpstreamEPSS 0.6% - CVE-2023-25761
Jenkins JUnit Plugin 1166.va_436e268e972 and earlier does not escape test case class names in JavaScript expressions, resulting in a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exploitable by attackers able to control test case class names in the JUnit resources processed by the plugin.
UpstreamEPSS 0.7% - CVE-2023-25762
Jenkins Pipeline: Build Step Plugin 2.18 and earlier does not escape job names in a JavaScript expression used in the Pipeline Snippet Generator, resulting in a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exploitable by attackers able to control job names.
UpstreamEPSS 81.4% - CVE-2023-39325
A malicious HTTP/2 client which rapidly creates requests and immediately resets them can cause excessive server resource consumption. While the total number of requests is bounded by the http2.Server.MaxConcurrentStreams setting, resetting an in-progress request allows the attacker to create a new request while the existing one is still executing. With the fix applied, HTTP/2 servers now bound the number of simultaneously executing handler goroutines to the stream concurrency limit (MaxConcurrentStreams). New requests arriving when at the limit (which can only happen after the client has reset an existing, in-flight request) will be queued until a handler exits. If the request queue grows too large, the server will terminate the connection. This issue is also fixed in golang.org/x/net/http2 for users manually configuring HTTP/2. The default stream concurrency limit is 250 streams (requests) per HTTP/2 connection. This value may be adjusted using the golang.org/x/net/http2 package; see the Server.MaxConcurrentStreams setting and the ConfigureServer function.
UpstreamEPSS 3.8% - CVE-2023-44487
The HTTP/2 protocol allows a denial of service (server resource consumption) because request cancellation can reset many streams quickly, as exploited in the wild in August through October 2023.
