The Elastic APM .NET Agent can leak sensitive HTTP header information when logging the details during an application error. Normally, the APM agent will sanitize sensitive HTTP header details before sending the information to the APM server. During an application error it is possible the headers will not be sanitized before being sent.
The vulnerability can be exploited over a local network, such as Wi-Fi. It is easy for an attacker to exploit this vulnerability. An attacker needs high-level or administrative privileges. The attacker needs the user to perform some action, like clicking a link. The impact is confined to the system where the vulnerability exists. There is a low impact on the confidentiality of the information.
