Original Description
automad up to 1.10.9 is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting in the sitename argument because the SharedController class that handles form data and saving shared information does not properly sanitize the user input on the client side when rendering the data. The attack may be launched remotely and an exploit has been disclosed publicly.
The vulnerability can be exploited over the network without needing physical access. It is easy for an attacker to exploit this vulnerability. An attacker needs high-level or administrative privileges. The attacker needs the user to perform some action, like clicking a link. The impact is confined to the system where the vulnerability exists. There is a low impact on the integrity of the data.
