Original Description
A vulnerability was found in Keycloak. The environment option KC_CACHE_EMBEDDED_MTLS_ENABLED does not work and the JGroups replication configuration is always used in plain text which can allow an attacker that has access to adjacent networks related to JGroups to read sensitive information.
The vulnerability can be exploited over a local network, such as Wi-Fi. It is easy for an attacker to exploit this vulnerability. An attacker needs basic access or low-level privileges. No user interaction is needed for the attacker to exploit this vulnerability. The impact is confined to the system where the vulnerability exists. There is a high impact on the confidentiality of the information.
