DEBIAN-CVE-2026-53363
No affected components available
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: iptfs: preserve shared-frag marker in iptfs_consume_frags() iptfs_consume_frags() transfers paged fragments from one socket buffer to another but fails to propagate the SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG flag. This is the same class of bug that was fixed in skb_try_coalesce() for CVE-2026-46300: when fragments backed by read-only page-cache pages are merged, the marker indicating their shared nature must be preserved so that ESP can decide correctly whether in-place encryption is safe. Apply the same two-line fix used in skb_try_coalesce() to iptfs_consume_frags().
The vulnerability can be exploited over the network without needing physical access. It is easy for an attacker to exploit this vulnerability. An attacker does not need any special privileges or access rights. No user interaction is needed for the attacker to exploit this vulnerability. The impact is confined to the system where the vulnerability exists. There is a high impact on the confidentiality of the information. There is a high impact on the integrity of the data. There is a high impact on the availability of the system.
Active exploitation in the wild has been confirmed. Immediate patching or mitigation is required.
Probability that this vulnerability will be exploited in the wild within the next 30 days.
